Skill: five deficits audit
A zero-install tool for Chapter 7, "Skills That Become More Valuable." It runs in your browser and sends no data anywhere. Code license: MIT.
As output becomes cheaper, five scarce qualities become more valuable: judgment, taste, trust, attention, and distribution. This tool shows which one is already strong but invisible to the market, which one is weak, and which single move to make this quarter.
What it does
- Using two or three real tasks from your week, you mark each deficit as strong, neutral, or weak. You can also mark it as "not measured" when it exists but the market cannot see it.
- The tool chooses one deficit where a move can have the greatest effect, then suggests a specific step and a review date one quarter later.
- You can copy the result.
How to use it
- Open the tool and assess all five deficits against your real tasks.
- Choose one move for the quarter, not three.
- You can tell an AI assistant: "Here is my deficit and my move. Help me make it specific and create proof that I closed it." Ask for options and weak spots.
Discipline
A deficit counts as strong only when you can show an example of its effect. A self-rating is not enough. Trust is shown by another person's behavior, such as signing without reading every line, not by how trustworthy you feel. Spreading effort across three deficits usually produces no result.

Review my week through five scarce qualities that become more valuable as AI makes routine work
cheaper: judgment, taste, trust, attention, and distribution.
Here are 2-3 real tasks from my week: [describe the tasks]
For each quality, mark it as strong (supported by an example of its effect, not a self-rating),
neutral, weak, or "not measured" (it exists, but the market or management cannot see or count it).
Trust must be supported by another person's behavior, such as accepting my work without checking every
detail, rather than by how I feel about myself. Do not give me three moves. Choose ONE quality where a
move can have the greatest effect this quarter. Suggest a specific step and how I will check in three
months whether I improved it.
