Six signs of a real redesign

The workflow changed. The steps are different instead of simply faster. Roles changed. People now spend more time framing and reviewing the work. Metrics changed. We track the outcome or cycle, not output volume. Quality review is built into the workflow, not left for when someone has time. A person still owns the critical point where an error would be costly. The process has a measurable customer or financial outcome.
